Dr Stuart Stewart – NIHR academic clinical fellow and GPST4
Dr Stuart Stewart’s interest in women’s health was born out of repeatedly seeing the discrimination, disadvantage, and double standards that women face each day. When any group of people repeatedly face culturally normalised barriers, something will inevitably give and as a doctor that is often in women’s health. Once you see this, you can’t unsee it. His goal is simple – design and deliver research to improve health for women. With a strong emphasis on preventative medicine and population health, he aims to use big data to answer some of the most important questions in women’s health.
