Dr Karen Edwards – A&E Consultant

Dr Edwards is an ED consultant for Frimley Health NHS Trust with a subspecialty interest in paediatric emergency pain and sedation management, she is also an executive coach for the PSWS (professional support and well-being service) in Oxford/Thames Valley for HEE with a special interest in menopause. Dr Edwards set up the Doctors Menopause Cafe in Sept 2020.  Her previous work includes: an expedition medic in Namibia, adult medical rotation MRCP, critically ill children and neonatal retrieval doctor in Sydney, and a fellowship in Oxford in simulation with a focus on using sim to improve teamwork and medication safety.
